ISS, Mars, the Moon and Venus……oh my!

Watching this morning’s early ISS pass was the perfect way to begin the week.

Orion’s belt stars are on the far right of the frame while Mars is the red dot in the upper center near where the trail left behind by the international space station begins.

The Moon is the bright blob in the clouds and Venus is the brilliant “star” below it.

The ISS path ends between Castor and Pollux in Gemini.  The asteroid Vesta is below and left in the trees….more about Vesta in a few days.
